Cameron trained in Australia before moving to Duke to complete fellowship, and join the Transplant ID faculty. He maintains clinical and research interests in management of viral infections in the immunosuppressed, especially HIV, viral hepatitis and respiratory viruses. He is a former chair of the UNOS Disease Transmission Advisory Committee (DTAC), and previous at-large member of the UNOS Board of Directors, as well as current TID council member.

Professor Monica Slavin leads the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) funded Centre of Research Excellence in Infections in Cancer at Sir Peter MacCallum Department of Oncology, University of Melbourne. She is Director of the Department of Infectious Diseases at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and of the Immunocompromised Host Infection Service at Royal Melbourne Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. She is Professor in the Department of Medicine, University of Melbourne and is an NHMRC Leadership fellow. Prof Slavin is immediate past- President of the International Immunocompromised Host Society and secretary of the Immunocompromised Host working group of ESCMID. Her research focuses on prevention, diagnosis and management of infections in the immunocompromised host with a particular interest in invasive fungal infection.

Alessandra Mularoni is Director of the Infectious Disease and Infection Control Service at ISMETI - a solid organ transplant center partner of the University of Pittsburgh-located in Palermo, Italy. At ISMETI she works as ID consultant for liver, kidney, pancreas, heart, and lung transplant programs for children and adults. She also works in hospital epidemiology and infection control. Since 2016 she has been Clinical Assistant Professor at the School of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. She is councilor of Transplant Infectious Disease (TID-TTS), of Italian Society of Antiinfective Therapy (SITA) and member of ESCMID.

Dr. Peter Stock is a multiorgan transplant surgeon at the University of California, San Francisco, and performs kidney, pancreas and liver transplants. He also serves as the Surgical Director of the Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program at UCSF, as well as the Pediatric Kidney Transplant Program. His translational research explores beta cell replacement for the treatment of Type 1 diabetes, and he is currently co-Director of the UCSF Pancreatic Islet Transplant Program and was co-PI on the CIRM (California Institute of Regenerative Medicine) stem cell initiative to bring stem cell-derived beta cells to a clinical trial. He is the Principal Investigator on the NIH U01 multicenter trial studying the immune response following liver and kidney transplants in people with HIV. Dr. Stock is a member and has served in leadership positions in many professional organizations, including the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS, served as President, July 2014 to May 2015), The Transplantation Society (TTS, currently serving as councilor and Chair of the Ethics Committee), the American College of Surgeons (ACS), the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS, serving as Chair of both the Pancreas and Kidney Transplant Committees), the Society of University Surgeons (SUS), the International Pancreas and Islet Transplant Association (IPITA, serving as councilor and Chair of the 14th World Congress in Monterey, CA), the International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS, Co-Chair of the 18th Annual International Congress in San Francisco, CA), the International Pediatric Transplant Association (IPTA), and the American Surgical Association (ASA). He is on the editorial board of Transplantation and an ad hoc reviewer for the American Journal of Transplantation, New England Journal of Medicine, Clinical Transplantation, Liver Transplantation, and an invited lecturer on transplantation and immunosuppressive strategies both nationally and internationally.

Prof Elmi Muller is a transplant surgeon and the Dean of the Faculty of Healthcare and Medicine at Stellenbosch University. She is an international leader in the healthcare sector and President-Elect of The Transplantation Society (TTS). She holds clinical as well as business qualifications in South Africa and England, as well as a fellowship in the USA. She had been the chair of the Declaration of Istanbul Custodian group, the South African Transplant Society and served on the World Health Organization Transplantation Taskforce. She pioneered a transplant program for HIV positive recipients in South Africa using HIV positive donors. She holds an A1 rating for research with the National Research Foundation of South Africa.

Professor Jeremy R. Chapman is a nephrologist based in Sydney Australia, with research interests in preclinical and clinical research in kidney, pancreas, bone marrow, and islet transplantation. He is the Editor-in-Chief for Transplantation and Transplantation Direct 2015-2023, a Past-President of The Transplantation Society, Advisory Member of The World Health Organisation Expert Advisory Panel on Human Cell Tissue and Organ Transplantation, Secretary-General and Past President of the World Marrow Donor Association, founding Co-Chair of the Declaration of Istanbul Custodian Group, Chairman of the Australian Bone Marrow Donor Registry, the Australian Cord Blood Bank Network, and Past President of the Transplantation Society of Australia and New Zealand. He chairs the Vigilance and Safety committee of the Australian Organ and Tissue Authority. He received the Asturias Foundation 2010 Award for International Cooperation on behalf of The Transplantation Society and was awarded the 2010 David Hume Award of the US National Kidney Foundation. He was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2003 (OAM) and Companion of the Order of Australia in 2015

Dr. Cooper is involved in transplantation activities both in the US and internationally. He is the current UNOS/OPTN President. He is a member of the National and DC Board of Directors for the NKF and a member of the NKF’s National Transplant Task Force. He has served as the chairman of the United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) Living Donor Committee and Kidney Committee. He is a current councillor for the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. He is a current board member for the National Kidney Registry, the American Foundation for Donation and Transplantation, the International Pancreas and Islet Cell Transplant Association, and Donate Life America. Dr. Cooper served as Chair of the American Transplant Congress in 2018 and on the Program Committee for TTS.
