I have had the privilege of caring for adult and pediatric liver transplant patients for over 20 years as a dedicated transplant hepatologist at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York City. I was trained here and have risen to the rank of full professor. I have been involved with SPLIT for more than 20 years and have served on and led some important SPLIT committees and initiatives. I have built a transplant program and advanced hepatology program from the ground up, and have trained many of SPLIT’s leaders. I have published in all aspects of pediatric liver disease and transplantation. I have watched SPLIT evolve over the years and hope to have the chance to take us to the next level through cooperation and innovation.
