As we looked forward optimistically to the pandemic coming under better control by the end of the year, IPITA 2021 became all the more important to our constituents as a crucible opportunity for a much-needed pooling together of scientific advancements.
To optimize the virtual format of this year’s Congress, we structured the program to offer shorter and more impactful daily sessions. Mindful of the characteristics of virtual learning, we designed a fully immersive experience, bringing to you in the comfort of your own environment the latest clinical data and state-of-the-art advances in islet and pancreas transplant and stem cell and regenerative medicine.
The transition to a virtual format unlocked new learning opportunities and made participation even more accessible to a global audience. Alongside this condensed and focused schedule, there was plenty of space to interact with attendees and faculty and make those important professional connections.
