Overview

Speakers will discuss the publication of the Belgian Consensus Guidelines on the use of Imlifidase.

Objectives

  • Understand the basic principles and applications for machine perfusion, including hypothermic oxygenated perfusion and normothermic machine perfusion
  • Review the current clinical applications of machine perfusion in pediatric liver transplants, including expanding the donor pool, its use in split liver transplants, and its impact on improving graft survival
  • Examine the existing clinical data and studies, synthesize expert views on the benefits and challenges of widespread use of machine perfusion in pediatric liver transplantation
