The International Society for Organ Donation and Procurement (ISODP) is requesting nominations for our upcoming Council election.

Nominations are being sought for several councilor positions for a four year-year term to commence following our biennial Business Meeting taking place Kyoto, Japan on December 3-6, 2025.

The Society seeks to achieve a geographically balanced representation of Council in proportion to our membership, therefore, at this time we are only seeing nominations from North America, Middle East/Africa, Europe and Asia.

The ISODP nominations committee will carefully consider all nominations and will choose a slate of candidates to be voted on by ISODP members.

To be eligible for election, the candidate must be a Full Member in good standing of the ISODP at the time of their nomination and during their term of office and should be professionally engaged in organ donation. In addition, Councilors will be asked to support the strategic growth of the Society and be active participants on working groups related to education, advancing the profile and reach of ISODP, and in developing donation practice world-wide.

To nominate, you will need the following information:

1. Name and email of the nominee (Must be a FULL member of ISODP in good standing)
2. Name and email of supporter (Must be a FULL member of ISODP in good standing)
3. 200-word Bio of nominee (see sample Bio)
4. Photo of nominee

Nominations must be submitted by April 21, 2025 at 23:59 PM ET.
