Friday, January 21, 2022, 9:00 AM (Local time in Montreal)
Local time (Corresponding local time at your current location)

Overview

One of the most important obstacles to improving organ donation and transplantation is the deceased family’s refusal for organ donation. Breaking the bad news to a family about their loved one’s death and, worse than that, asking them for organ donation consent is a very important topic that is now a science and requires professionals to be trained about it.

Learning Objectives

  1. Reviewing the role of different factors involved in raising the brain death family’s consent rate
  2. Learning how the correct method of deceased family’s interview could become teachable
  3. 15 key points in increasing the success rate of coordinators in taking deceased family’s consent
