President's Message

April 14, 2020

On behalf of the Leadership of The Transplantation Society, I wish to express my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to our many members who are working diligently to slow the impact of COVID-19 as it continues to spread across the globe. Our thoughts also continue to go out for those around the world who are directly affected.

To our front-line clinicians, nurses and allied health workers who put themselves in harms way to protect all of us; to our ID specialists and researchers who are tirelessly seeking answers to contain and mitigate the effects of this virus; to our committee members, members at large and staff who are sharing their knowledge and information worldwide so that we have the most complete information possible to enable accelerated eradication of this pandemic: we thank you all for your sacrifices and dedication.

We will continue to closely monitor the evolution and developments of COVID-19 and will share our findings with all of you. The health and safety of our members and staff, and their families remains our top priority, particularly in these unprecedented turbulent times.

In your continued work to fight this pandemic, be safe and stay well.
