Dr. Joseph Kim is the Director of the Kidney Transplant Program at the Toronto General Hospital, University Health Network. He is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Kim completed training in nephrology and kidney transplantation at the University of Toronto. In 2008, he earned a PhD in epidemiology and a Master of Health Science in biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. In 2020, he completed his MBA at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. Dr. Kim’s research interests include access to and outcomes of kidney transplantation and using data to better inform health system improvement.

Chris is a consultant transplant surgeon at Guy’s Hospital, London, and is also a member of the transplant teams at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. Chris is the NHS Blood Transplant associate medical director for abdominal organ utilisation and has clinical and research interests in the use of higher risk deceased donor organs, and in the use of warm machine perfusion in organ transplantation.

Chris has a PhD in transplant immunology from the University of Cambridge, UK, and was trained in multi-organ transplant surgery at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge.

Germaine Wong is a transplant nephrologist, Director of Western Renal Service at Westmead Hospital, Professor of Clinical Epidemiology, NHMRC. Leadership Fellow at the University of Sydney, and Co-Director of Clinical. Research at Centre for Kidney Research, Children’s Hospital at Westmead. She is the current Co-Chair of the Women in Transplantation and Associate Editor of Kidney International (KI) and Transplantation. She has an internationally recognised track record in transplant epidemiology, cancer and transplantation, social ethics in organ allocation, decision analytical modelling, health economics, and quality of life studies in transplant recipients.

Dr. Jong Cheol (JC) Jeong is a visiting scholar at the University of Chicago. His primary research interest is in the development and application of methods in translational biomedical informatics to better understand disease pathogenesis leading to the development of precision medicine and improved diagnostics and therapeutics for cancer patients. Dr. Jeong's research is focused on developing biomedical methods to identify new biomarkers for diagnosis, prognosis, and prediction of response to therapy in cancer using Big Data and Machine Learning approaches.

Jon Snyder, PhD, is the Director of Transplant Epidemiology for the Chronic Disease Research Group of the Hennepin Healthcare Research Institute (HHRI) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He serves as the Director of the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients. He is a Statistical Editor for the American Journal of Transplantation, an Associate Editor of Transplantation, and he has co-authored more than 150 publications. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Epidemiology and Community Health at the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Clinical Policy Board of LifeSource and is a member of the Board of Directors of The Organ Donation and Transplantation Alliance. Dr. Snyder is the recipient of the 2023 Research Excellence Award from Hennepin Healthcare and the University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Snyder earned his Doctorate in Epidemiology and his Masters in Biostatistics from the University of Minnesota.
