TTS-Merck Webinar Presentation - June 13, 2024

Transplant Registries: Current Status and Future Directions

This webinar is sponsored by Merck
Thursday, June 13, 2024 - 9:00 AM (Local time in Montreal)
Local time (Corresponding local time at your current location)
The duration of this presentation is scheduled for 60 minutes.

Overview

This webinar will highlight the importance of transplant registry systems across the world in supporting efforts to increase access to transplantation, improve patient outcomes, and optimize system performance. With the advent of machine learning, large data systems such as transplant registries can be used for new insights about care and outcomes. There are also opportunities to systematically capture information about post-transplant complications (such as viral infections and rejection) through data harmonization, linkage, or federated models of data sharing which could allow opportunities for collaboration between transplant registries throughout the world.

Learning Objectives

  • To review the current landscape of transplant registries across the world
  • To provide an overview of the TTS Global Data Harmonization Committee and its work to advance registry science in transplantation
  • To outline future directions for transplant registries including the evaluation of interventions and the application of advanced analytics
