The Transplantation Society, in conjunction with the World Health Organization and the South African Transplantation Society, put together a workshop last year for people starting off in the field of transplantation. This workshop was very well attended by delegates, mostly from Africa; and also we had some wonderful speakers from all over the world, who come from developed transplant settings where they have well established programs. We decided to put together a series of webinars with these topics in order to bring this workshop out to the world. I am hoping that everybody who attends these webinars will enjoy this, be able to start their own programs, and will be able to engage with some of these speakers on e-mail and with regular contact in the future: to help them start the programs and to build a brighter future. Thank you.
