Mission
The International Pancreas and Islet Transplant Association aims to cure diabetes by:
- Promoting research and training relevant to transplantation of insulin producing tissue for the treatment and cure of diabetes.
- Providing a scientific forum for the exchange and discussion of clinical and experimental results from all disciplines relevant to transplantation of insulin producing tissue.
- Facilitating engagement between clinicians, researchers and all stakeholders including people affected by diabetes.
