Farida Younan, RN, BSN, MS. I started my career a head nurse of hemodialysis unit, and coordination of the 1st kidney transplant department in Lebanon, then implement the 1st peritoneal dialysis unit in Lebanon. In 2009, I was assigned par the MOH, National Coordinator at the National Organization for Organ and Tissue Donation and Transplantation (NOD-Lb) to implement a unified organ and tissue donation and transplantation program.
I am a founding member of an NGO “ALDOR” to promote organ donation and founding President of the Middle East Transplant Coordinators Organization (METCO) and recently founding vice-President of the Lebanese Association for Nephrology Nurses (LANN).

In 2000, I included the organ donation and Transplantation coordination to the Middle with the TPM of Barcelona-Spain and the DTI, and organized for the MESOT area many TPM courses in Lebanon (2000-2010)
I implemented the Lebanese Organ Donation and Transplantation system in cooperation with AECID and DTI (SUESA project) 2010-2013.
I have participated in international research in kidney transplant immunology and has many publications in organ donation and transplantation.

Estephan Arredondo BS, Msc, is a biologist specialized in Organ, Tissues and Cell Donation from the University of Barcelona. He is currently Technical Director and Cofounder of Cytes Biotechnologies. He also acts as co-chair at the Allied Health Group of the Transplantation Society.
His studies are based on how to develop networks to procure human tissue for research and isolation of human liver cells. He has been involved in several European projects related to international cooperation in organ donation such as the Black Sea Area andMiddle East.
Danijela Rac, MSN, BSN, has 30 years of experience in the Sestre milosrdnice University Hospital Center in Zagreb, Croatia. She worked in the Intensive Care Unit for 20 years, 10 of them as the head nurse. Currently, she works as a tissue coordinator MSN, BSN and the head nurse of the Nursing Service. She was a member of the Intensive Care Unit's donation team. She completed her undergraduate studies at Zagreb, University of Applied Health Sciences in 2015 and received her Master's degree from the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Health Studies in 2021.
In 2009, she finished the Transplant Procurement Management (TPM) Advanced International Training Course in Barcelona. She is a lecturer at Zagreb, University of Applied Health Sciences, where she teaches about donor and transplant programs. She is a member of the Croatian Society of Nurses in Anesthesia, Reanimation, Intensive Care, and Transfusion and served as secretary from 2005 to 2015. In addition, she serves on the editorial board of the professional online journal SHOCK. She is involved in and conducts several educational events, courses, and public health initiatives relating to the donor program.
Technician and Analyst of Renal Registries Catalan transplant Organization Barcelona, Spain
Jordi Comas, BSc, MPH is a Technician responsible of management and analysis of Catalan Renal Registry (RMRC) and kidney waiting list registry at Catalan Transplant Organization (OCATT), Health Department, Generalitat de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain. The RMRC is one of the oldest kidney registries in Europe and Jordi Comas has contributed in many publications and reports performed from RMRC since 2006. He also participated in the development of new kidney allocation model (2017) and other projects emerged from Catalan Kidney Transplant Advisory Committee. RMRC contributes sharing data with other national and international registries such as Registro Español de Dialisis y Traslaplante (REDYT), the ERA Registry or the Collaborative Transplant Study (CTS).
