Dear colleagues,

As we begin the year 2013, IXA would like to send warm thoughts and best wishes to its current and prospective members. May the year ahead be full of success and satisfaction for everyone.

We hope that IXA will continue to support your professional activities and provide you with exciting new information throughout the New Year. We would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the past year by providing readers of the IXA’s official journal, Xenotransplantation, with a list of the most accessed and downloaded papers from 2012 (see adjacent list).

Several important events
are coming up:

The winner of the 2012 IXA Carl-Gustav Groth Xeno-Prize will be announced soon. Current and future IXA members are eligible for this new Xeno-Prize. Submit your manuscript to Xenotransplantation for a chance to win the 2013 Xeno-Prize!

Plans are well underway for the IXA 2013 Congress in Osaka and we are looking forward to our Japanese colleagues delivering on what promises to be an excellent mix of science and networking, visit the website for more information.

Renew your membership or become an IXA member now to be eligible for reduced fees, travel awards and many other membership benefits!

Please do not hesitate to contact IXA to provide feedback or any suggestions to sections@tts.org.
