Takaaki Kobayashi,
IXA President-Elect

We have returned from a successful TTS 2012 Congress where many of our IXA members participated as speakers. Due to our active involvement in the program, The Transplantation Society has granted our members free online access to recordings of Xenotransplantation related presentations (click here to access).

Plans are well underway for the IXA2013 Congress in Osaka and we are looking forward to our Japanese colleagues delivering on what promises to be an excellent mix of science and networking.

We would like to remind our current members and INTRODUCE POTENTIAL NEW MEMBERS to the important benefits associated with being part of IXA:

  • Access to the member directory [link]
  • Reduced fees at the biennial IXA Congress [link to 2013 Osaka website]
  • Free online access to the IXA’s official journal Xenotransplantation [Link - Full Members only]
  • Xeno-Prize ($7,000) for the best paper published in Xenotransplantation [click here to access Xeno-Prize page]
  • Voting rights (Full Members)
  • Free access to our multimedia library with presentations from 2009 and 2011 Congresses
  • Free access to xeno-related session recordings from TTS 2012 Berlin Congress [link]
  • 50% rebate on TTS membership when paying dues at the same time as your IXA dues

Please do not hesitate to contact the IXA to provide feedback or any suggestions (sections@tts.org).
