This biennial award was established specifically by IXA council to support and foster female researchers who are building their career in Xenotransplantation, or to recognize their accomplishments.

Keith Reemtsma Lecture Endowment Fund
The International Xenotransplantation Association has developed the Keith Reemtsma Lecture Endowment Fund to enable an eminent scientist who has contributed to the field of xenotransplantation to share his or her research findings at the biennial IXA Congress. Young Investigators Endowment Research Fund (YIER)
IXA has created a new endowment fund to support the education, research and mentorship of the next generation of professionals in Xenotransplantation. Donations will be collected into an endowment fund managed by IXA and TTS. The funds raised will support a variety of initiatives, which will be coordinated by the fundraising and endowment committee (FREC), under the leadership of the IXA Council. Examples of initiatives to be supported will include travel awards to attend IXA meetings, and financial support to travel to different institutions across the world in order to broaden the research experience of scholars.

Note: If you want to donate more than $10,000 please contact sections@tts.org to arrange the donation.

IXA is a 501c3 non-profit and all donations are tax deductible. Our EIN is 38-4107840.
