Sunita Mathur is a physical therapist and Associate Professor in Physical Therapy at Queen’s Unviersity. She directs the Muscle Imaging and Performance Lab and her research program focuses on evaluating sarcopenia and frailty in people with chronic diseases, and solid organ transplant candidates and recipients. Sunita is the co-founder and co-Chair of CAN-RESTORE, a Canadian network dedicated to optimizing health of transplant patients through exercise and rehabilitation. She is also an investigator with the Canadian Donation and Transplantation Research Program, and Chair of the Research Committee of the Canadian Society of Transplantation.
