IPTA is seeking qualified candidates to be considered for open Councilor and Officer positions beginning in March 2027. Nominations and applications are welcome from anyone who has been an IPTA member in good standing for at least 1 year. Service to IPTA on committees or special activities relevant to the society is an asset.

POSITIONS DETAILS

We are seeking to appoint the following Officer positions to the Executive Council:

  • President-Elect
  • Secretary-Treasurer
  • We are also seeking to fill 5 Councilor positions.

All applications will be reviewed by the IPTA Nominations Committee, who will present a final slate of candidate officers and councilors to the IPTA membership for the 2026 election.

Council Terms

  • Councilors – 4 years
  • Officers – 2 years

  • Two letters of support from two members in good standing of IPTA.
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Nominee Statement (300 words): Identify and describe on key issue addressing a challenge in pediatric transplantation and why you believe that it is an important issue for IPTA to address.
  • Please note that this will be used in materials sent to the IPTA membership.

Applicants will be notified in August 2026 as to the status of their acceptance to the election slate for the 2026 election (to run late August-September 2026). IF you are chosen for the ballot, you will be required to fill out the IPTA Conflict of Interest form for review prior to final acceptance.
