IPTA is delighted to announce that applications for the 2024 Outreach Program are now open.

The mission of the IPTA Outreach Committee is to facilitate access for children with end-stage organ failure to safe, ethical, and high-quality solid organ transplantation worldwide, particularly in less medically developed areas. Outreach Committee tools to achieve this mission include the Outreach Program for support of individual centers, as well as developing Outreach Projects with a broader scope.

The aim of the Outreach Program is to contribute to new pediatric transplant center development, but also to help existing centers seeking to expand their activity, or improve quality of transplant services. We request that interested paired centres complete the following application

Please note that the principal applicant must reside in an LMIC country, and be an IPTA member in good standing. Please go to www.tts.org/ipta-members-area/ipta-join to join IPTA or to pay your Dues.

We also require that all applicants or their institutions be signed up to the Declaration of Istanbul. Please go to www.declarationofistanbul.org to sign up. Please note that if these criteria are not met, your application will not be valid.

If you are a centre that is interested in applying but does not have a centre to pair with, or if you are a centre that would like to act as a mentoring centre, please contact Katie Tait at katie.tait@tts.org.

Applications will close on 31st July 2024.

Announcement of the Winning Pairs for 2023!

The IPTA Outreach Committee is delighted to announce the winners of its 2023 Outreach Program awards. The winning pairs demonstrated their intention to work together to optimize transplant services and outcomes for children in low resource settings, maintaining the highest clinical and ethical standards.
